Miami Gives Thanks to Its Teachers – The Heart of Education

Miami Loves Teachers is a partnership between The Education Fund and Miami-Dade County Public Schools dedicated to making Miami the BEST place to teach and learn — a place where educators feel valued, supported, and inspired to build their careers. The initiative was launched with seed funding from the College Football Playoff Foundation and the Orange Bowl Committee.

Research consistently shows that the #1 in-school factor impacting student achievement is a great teacher. That’s why Miami Loves Teachers works to support, retain, and attract outstanding educators by providing the resources, recognition, opportunities, and community connections teachers need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

Through classroom grants, free professional learning, community partnerships, teacher appreciation events, exclusive perks, wellness initiatives, and hands-on experiences, Miami Loves Teachers celebrates and invests in the educators shaping the future of Miami.
