Ms. Ingrid Michele Bazin
Ingrid “Ms. Michele” Bazin is a fourth year educator, proud daughter of two teachers, and a 305 alumna who is a product of Miami-Dade County Public Schools. She teaches U.S. History and World History and currently serves as the 6th Grade Team Lead at historic North Dade Middle School, where she is a proud Thunderbird. Of Caribbean descent, Ms. Michele’s cultural background allows her to connect authentically with the diverse student population she serves, building meaningful relationships grounded in shared history, identity, and community.
With over 25 years of experience curating live events and collaborating with poets and musicians, Ms. Michele brings creativity, storytelling, and cultural relevance into her classroom. She is an Education Fund grant recipient and has disseminated her teaching strategies at the IDEA Expo Teacher Conference. She is deeply enjoying this season of growth as both a teacher and a learner continuously developing her craft, learning alongside her students, and honoring a family legacy rooted in education, culture, and service.

A winner will be selected each week by the College Football Playoff Foundation based on nominations received. Winners will receive a $1,000 DonorsChoose gift card to use for classroom projects. Please note that only current M-DCPS teachers in good standing are eligible to win. To nominate a Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ teacher, you and the teacher you are nominating must BOTH be signed up on the Miami Loves Teachers website (see the home page sign-up) and have submitted the nomination form below. Please do not forget to sign up on the homepage!
